“I had a multi-night stay in Del Rio, and I decided to try the Whispering Palms because it had good reviews. It met my needs. The only negative was that the air conditioner was pretty good, but not great. I like it really cold when I sleep, and it didn't quite get there. But I realize I like it colder than most people, and it was comfortable enough, so this was at least as much about my personal preferences as the condition of the A/C. The staff was very friendly, and the owners were, too! Bob……

“There are too many great things to say to include them all but here are a few: 1) Juan was very responsive and great to work with, 2) the house was very clean with nice furniture and comfortable beds, 3) the house was very up-to-date with modern appliances and TVs in every room, 4) location very close to shopping, 5) quiet neighborhood, 6) fantastic backyard with pool, cabana bar, covered patio and lots of great lights making the evenings outside very pleasant, 7) a truly relaxing……

“Great house as advertised. We enjoyed the view and had deer come up several days. Area is kind of hurting for restaurants so we cooked in a few nights. We replaced chirping smoke detector battery, bought garbage bags as we found only one, and also bought TP as only a roll in each bath.”

“It was perfect for the four of us in my family. The location is very nice on the Amistad national recreation area and the condo is very clean with most amenities. The cooking supplies are a little low, but we were able to get by. Sunsets on the patio are amazing! If we are in the area again, I would definitely return.”
