“I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming hotel in the heart of La Riola, and I can’t recommend it enough! The location is perfect, allowing easy access to all the nearby wineries. Waking up each morning was a delight, serenaded by the enchanting songs of the Koo Koo owl, complemented by the gentle sounds of church bells ringing in the distance. “The place was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful. Nice big lounge area. I enjoyed my stay and it is beautiful overlooking the river. It was quiet even though the street in front was busy. Blackout curtains are there if you need them. There was extra pillows and blankets if needed but I didn’t. I liked the bathroom. “We’re just sorry we arrived late and had to check out early for wine tastings in the morning. A thoughtful modern renovation of an old stone farmhouse set in a tranquil village overlooking vineyards. Our breakfast of fresh juice and fruits, cheese and a selection of salmon and cured meats was prepared by a very charming local woman. When I return to the region, I will definitely include this special small hôtel on my itinerary. ”

“Our room at Hospedería de los Parajes was very comfortable, quiet and spacious. The staff here are all very nice, and our meals at Restaurante Los Parajes were exceptional. My wife and I had the extensive breakfast buffet each morning, and we also enjoyed two of our dinners while we were in La Guardia. “I had a very nice stay at Pensión Úbeda in Fuenmayor. I received a warm welcome, along with helpful tips and brochures about nearby options and things to do. I had to stay one extra day, sooner than planned, and the hostess arranged the additional night without any issues. There are many vineyards nearby, and I even received a brochure with several places to visit, including contacts and prices.
