"The property by itself is 20min far from the lake. The picture of the lake in hotel booking pictures will confuse you, well just letting you know there is no lake or river around the hotel. "The property is clean and located mere steps from the Palisades Tahoe village and the Tram building (and also close to the bottom of the WaSheShu lift I think). Convenient parking for one vehicle per room in the adjacent garage. Staff was friendly and helpful, though maybe a little slow on checking people in that night. Some parts of the property were undergoing renovation during my stay, so I gave the Property Condition only 4 out of five stars."

"While we were not underneath the roof repair & our window looked out to the parking lot, we did request a first floor room which we had. Biggest drawback to our room was the bathroom door was on a self closing hinge with a VERY loud fan that came on each time the light was turned on. Made it difficult to negotiate the room door & bathroom door. And no night light for the bathroom. Very nice place other than the door issue, close to downtown Truckee & I-80"

Also, access to the recreation center for Hot Tubbing and swimming helped these old knees out! Simple, Practical Tranquil and Accommodating best describe the Condo.
