“Had a great time here with our family (2 kids, 7 and 2). Came for the eclipse, but this seemed like a solid base regardless of when you’d be in Waco. Chatted with the hosts for a while on the first day, very welcoming and had some great reccos in local restaurants!”

“What a great stay for our family! This retreat is a sweet, cozy cottage right on the banks of the Brazos River. It’s only a few miles from Waco but you’ll feel miles away from the world! The house had everything possible you could need. It is well appointed and was comfortable sleeping for 6. There is great outdoor space with a fire pit and chairs right by the river. We will definitely look to stay here again!”

“This property was perfect for my family with 3 kids, five years old and younger. The inside is clean and beautiful with many thoughtful touches. And the outside is serene and spacious, with front and back porches to relax on and watch the kids play. We loved the feeling of being out in the country while having the conveniences of a full kitchen and a thoughtfully furnished space. The owners are wonderful - quick to respond to messages and so kind and considerate! Loved, loved, loved!”

It is a little further outside of the Baylor/Magnolia bubble than we thought it would be, but we were thankful for a cozy, comfortable and quite stay during the hustle and bustle of graduation. “We enjoyed a family reunion with our kids and 6 grandchildren, between the ages of 4 - 9. The weather was pretty rainy, so we stayed indoors a lot, but there was plenty to do. The kids played games, watched movies, and our favorite was the foosball table upstairs. We had a family tournament and had a blast! The property was very comfortable and so pretty. We enjoyed our time very much!”
