“There are no photos of the amazing backyard and steps covered in plants that lead to the door, it was a hidden surprise this close to an urban area. The lilies were open and the back porch was divine. My friend and I travel the country following a band, and this host has been my favorite thus far. She is very knowledgeable on the area and how to get around, as well as having tips on where to eat close by. We were there the weekend of the political parade and it was beautiful to see the locals...

“Upon arrival, I noticed the carpet had recently been vacuumed which was nice. The WiFi worked great, and I enjoyed the benefit of having access to a TV with cable in the bedroom. There was hand soap, and even shampoo in the shower if I needed it. The window AC unit in the bedroom worked just fine. “A wonderful place! Very conveniently located on Capitol Hill with plenty transit options in a historic and walkable neighborhood. A cozy oasis, with all the modern amenities you want in a charming exterior. The coffee options were excellent:) Trever and Julian were very responsive and helpful. “We came up to watch our grandson play for the Bowie Baysox, a Nationals game, an Orioles game and to tour DC. This place was perfect About a half an hour from Baltimore and DC and about ten minutes from the Bowie park. Clean and safe neighborhood. We met the owners one day and they couldn’t have been nicer. Great trip and we highly recommend this place.”

“My cousin and I traveled with my two college-age boys before they went back to school for a four day trip to DC. This house is located close to the national mall and museums.
