“This location is in the shaw building and is right next door to the Howard theater. It was easy for uber/lyft to find and is convenient to get to/from the airport and other places in DC. The apartment was SPACIOUS!!! 2 bedrooms and 2 baths but the open living room/kitchen concept was nice. There was a washer/dryer and plenty of dishes to use. Only downside - the window coverings let light through, so bring your eye mask if you wake up easily due to light. Not a downside, but remember you’re……

“What a great little apartment! Close to both the METRO and Adams-Morgan, one of my favorite neighborhoods in DC. Neat and clean. Our host, April, was most helpful, both during our stay snd as we prepared to come. Looking forward to coming back!!!”

“The accommodation is in an old brownstone row-house with charm and located in a nice area close to good restaurant options and to the Woodley Street Metro station and bus stops serving downtown DC. Though old, the basic necessities are very clean and well maintained.”

There were cockroaches in the bathroom along with a moldy shower curtain, active mouse traps set up in one closet, very dirty windows, plastic bottles and soda cans discarded in front of the front window (which is directly at the view level), broken plastic blinds on the back window, and some of the furniture was broken or dirty. “This was our first time in Washington and I would caution everyone to avoid NW if possible. Was convenient to the DC Streetcar however the unit is located almost directly over a liquor store and the walk to it was dicey. I wasn't aware but apparently pot is legal and used openly in public. Would not have brought the kids had I been warned. The unit itself was TINY. We felt pretty safe being on the 3rd floor but it was quite noisy from the traffic and late night partiers across the street.……

“The add clearly said "Parking Included" But it wasnt and we wasted 45 minutes trying to find a parking lot that was open 24/7. The apt itself was shabby. Missing doors on kitchen cabinets, wobbly chairs and tables and not usable. Bathroom towel rack fell as soon as i touched it. Tv was like 15 inches and no name brand. All the furniture was caked in polyurethane and dripping making it look like a slum. All windows were sealed and not functional. Location was sketchy although close……

“no one should have to sleep on a bed with that kind of a mattress. Place was not comfortable. Furniture was nearly destroyed. you can tell it everything in the Place list is cheap and I want to buy.”
