“Lovely hotel, very modern and clean. All the staff we encountered during our stay were polite and friendly. Only reason for giving a four star review was due to the fact that I had contacted the hotel prior to booking for a general query regarding room type and the lady I spoke to noted my query along with contact details (email and mobile number) and said she would have to find out the answer and get back to me.. I didnt receive a response. I felt this was quite poor as I refrained from booking……

“When we first were checking in, there was a slight snafu with our rooms. Our wonderful front desk gentleman, Ben, sent us to the bar for complimentary drinks while they sorted the situation. As we watched, there seemed to be more than one staff problem arising, which Ben smoothed everything out without batting an eye and a smile on his face. This guy, Ben, is a credit to any establishment, as his customer service skills are exemplary.. every time we saw him over the course of 4 days, he was……

“This was a very nice place to stay and we would go back and highly recommend Marlborough Arms to those traveling. It was within an easy walk to Blenheim Palace, lovely town, cute bookstore and good choices of restaurants! The B and B was quaint, historic, well preserved with lovely sitting areas including outdoors. Great breakfast buffet and made to order hot breakfast! If you haven't yet had a traditional English breakfast let this be your first, delicious.”

“Brilliant stay, check in was quick and smooth. Show to our rooms which were clean and spacious with large king bed. Staff were excellent during the stay and even did us a meal which wasn't on the recently updated menu. Breakfast freshly cooked and again adapted the choice for my colleague. ”
