“Returned 40 years later from our 1st stay, when it was in its original ocean front location, to this 2025 stay. Classic, historic, dedicated beach access, lovely grounds, lush landscaping and gardens, and a great vibe. Rocking chairs and porch swings harken back to the good ‘ol days. Wonderful breakfasts by Chef Georgia, with eclectic culinary creations. Just love this ‘old woodie’ hotel in the original classic OBX architectural style.”

“My spouse and I needed a little separation from all the life's influences. This place fit the bill perfectly. Right across from the beach so we could hear the water. The ease of access to said beach couldn't have been better. Already have 2 more planned.”

“Exactly as advertised. Simple, no-frills, pet friendly beach house in a very nice neighborhood. When we arrived the water had been turned off (for the winter?). We messaged the host and she had the water co there in 30 mins! Great host, very responsive. Big TV. Stack W/D is great to have. Everything works. We spent 5 nights and would stay there again for sure.”

“This was a nice, cozy property located on a quiet street. The home was well equipped with all the essential items in the kitchen, and the bed was very comfortable. The only recommendations I would offer are to consider adding motion lights on the stairs, as it was quite dark when going up at night, and to have the cleaners check that all lightbulbs are working prior to guest arrival. We also noticed the lighting over the dining area was a bit dim for evening activities. Overall, this was a……
