This historic Inn was great, room was spacious and we just loved the nostalgic feel. The breakfast made you feel like you were at home and not at a run of the mill hotel with a continental breakfast. The location was perfect for the event we were attending which was right across the street. The staff were super friendly, and we would highly recommend planning your stay here.

We love this quiet bed and breakfast. We spent our honeymoon 29 years ago there and came for our anniversary. We love it so much we brought dinner to the room instead of eating out. The bed was comfortable and the view was breath taking!

We had a great stay at First Colony. Our room was big and comfortable with very nice furnishings. The only drawback was that the shower was quite small. The staff as very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.

It was a nice, cozy stay. My boyfriend and I came for a night and overall, it was a nice experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they made sure to ask how everything was in the room we were staying and personally served you breakfast downstairs in their kitchen area. The rooms style, vintage and classic look which I’m a huge fan of. 10/10

We spent 3 nights here. Charming, spacious room with many windows on 3 sides. Towel warmer was appreciated in bathroom. Walk around porch deck with comfortable rocking chairs to enjoy the sunsets. Nice full breakfast included in a plesant dining room. Very nice grounds to enjoy as well as a good path to beach. Would definitely return here.

Our room was on the 3rd floor and we were not told there was not an elevator. The sheets and blankets had holes. One cake of soap was provided. It was the size of a quarter and was for 2 people for 2 days. The mattress was very uncomfortable with a dip in the center. The furniture was very worn with torn chairs. The hotel does have a good location.
