"Great stay!!!! If you’re staying around the Itasca area this would be perfect. 1 min away from the north entrance and across the street is a gas station with anything you need from food to beer! 2 mins down the road is Lobos bar and grill, great place to eat! "

"We enjoyed our stay. It was a great location with easy access to Itasca. It was quiet and quaint. Loved sitting out on the porch in the mornings and evenings enjoying the view of the trees and listening to the birds. We did have a problem with quite a few flies in the house, but the host was responsive and brought us a fly swatter. But overall, we loved the place. The bugs were definitely not a deal breaker, just a minor annoyance. Would definitely recommend this cabin to others visiting the area"

"Lovely resort, super clean, well thought out, friendly, gem of a resort. The restaurant was really good too. We plan on coming back with our family every year at least once! Our kids loved the playground and the event center too! Would love to have an actual pool for kids instead of just a jacuzzi."

"Very nice accommodations and met our needs for a relaxing weekend. Weather was kind to us. Not a beach type destination, but beautiful views. Went exploring to see the resort at far north end of lake and it was closed up for the season. Owner was just driving out of the gate and was a bit brash when we inquired about the place saying they are booked up all the time and didn't offer us any other information. Keep in mind, we are a couple middle aged women and exploring options for the future to stay, swim and kayak. At least the cabin we stayed at was a very welcoming experience. "

"Our group of five good friends came to Detroit Lakes to “Troll Hunt” and visit with another group of nine girlfriends at a cabin nearby. The location was excellent for us as it was about halfway between both activities. The Farm House was VERY roomy and perfect for relaxing in the morning and for playing games and visiting in the evenings. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay there!Some of my friends thought they felt “spirits” in the house and one swears she saw a woman rush by her in the bedroom on first floor. (But that particular friend does have a very vivid and active imagination - and maybe had a little too much to drink?!!!) Could use some grab bars for getting in and out of the very high bathtub up stairs, but super nice to have THREE bathrooms!!"

"Right on the edge of Itasca State Park. It was the perfect place to stay and meet up with friends that were camping. We didn’t end up bringing our dog, but also appreciated that was an option. Clean and comfy! "
