“This is a very cute cottage for a small party of two people. Beyond two people it would be cramped. It is reasonably close to the Point Park beaches and the Canal Park area of Duluth. The kitchen was well equipped and supplied as was the bathroom with linens. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it with the following "head's-up's".. “Overall, the stay was good. It’s what I would expect from a small cabin. The only big problem was the beds. The bottom bunk was unusable. It sunk in so far in the middle even my 9 year old couldn’t lay in it comfortably. The main bed also sinks in a lot in the middle. I was sleeping in it with a baby so it wasn’t too bad but I think 2 adults would probably fall into the middle.There was some small issues that weren’t a huge deal but worth mentioning. “Wonderful time at the cabin-- Peaceful and serene is a great way to describe the area. Nestled amongst the trees- listening to the St. Croix River and wildlife! Very quiet area to go for a walk, see deer-- easy access to Afton State Park for hiking, or St Croix Bluffs Regional Park for trails and hiking as well. Great restaurants in Stillwater and Afton, Minnesota as well as Hudson and Prescott Wisconsin. Beaches and sunshine were plentiful as well! Just what we needed to get away from the……
