“This farmhouse was a marvelously maintained old house. It was comfortable and warm for us to sleep upstairs. The food provided for us each morning was excellent and we had a choice about what we wanted to eat.
Parking was available for our rental car and driving the roads was an adventure in itself.
Gina, our host/owner was friendly, warm and full of local information. We enjoyed speaking with her about where to go and what to do while in the area. I would gladly go there again.”

“Wonderful customer service.
I phoned to say that I would be late for final check in (10pm) and Alexandra, the lovely lady on the front desk, made sure I was checked in dignity and made me feel so safe about arriving late.
This was my second time visiting The Swan for work trips to Blyton Park track.
Couldn’t recommend this B&B enough. Perfect for solo female travellers.”

“While the room was cheap it wasn’t very clean the shower was filthy the windows was filthy the vinyl the soap dispensers was very dirty, had a hand towel with the edges all frailed at the ends no light as you come out the room onto the landing I was left a soft brown banana that was left for the breakfast two days in a row and a slight brown apple . The breakfast sandwich was a cold defrosted bacon and sausage sandwich with the date it was frozen or defrosted on it I can’t remember. I’ve stayed……

“Lovely staff in an old beautiful building. The breakfast was great and the room was cosy and clean but a little on the colder side. Unfortunately we were directly above the function room which had a party on the Saturday day. The music was so loud that the furniture was vibrating. I should have requested a quiet room upon booking. I wouldn't let it put me off booking again”
