“Beautiful rustic cabin that faces Madawaska River. Brad (also met his mom) are lovely hosts.Cabin is in the yard (I think) of Brad's family cabin. He told me he'd be on the property the day we checked in. His family did some maintenance but they left the following day. It's very private, which we love.Cabin itself is very well-equipped. Different sizes of frying, soup and sauce pans. Different cooking utensils. Even paper filters for the coffee machine. There's also steak knives, pitchers, shot……

“The property is well kept with gorgeous views. The inside is cozy and clean. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was nice to cook in. It was like a home away from home. Lots of amenities and we enjoyed sitting in the sauna and hot tub after a long day of hiking. I highly recommend Kuro at Paint Lake. I would go here again. ”

“Great part of river to be on, all of us enjoyed canoeing up and down both ways on the river from the cottage, fantastic scenery and swimming off the dock turned out better than I though with being on a river with how calm it is, great location”

“This was a lovely property! The outdoor spaces were delightful, and we enjoyed the sauna and hot tub. The photographs accurately reflected the interior and exterior spaces, and the interior was comfortable and well-laid-out. We especially loved how light-filled the house was, and the walk-out level game and television room was definitely a bonus! The host was responsive, helpful, and easy to work with. We would definitely stay here again!”

“A true hidden gem. Our weekend away was perfect in every way – remote, peaceful, and beautiful snowy views. It was instant relaxation. From the tiny fireplace that heated the cabin, the Edison lights that line your walk up to the Aux Box, built in Bluetooth speaker to our own outdoor spa (loved the cold plunge after a hot sauna) our few days up north were just what we needed. We brought all our food with us (even the BBQ was top notch) and never left this piece of paradise. Thank you Garth……
