“.Despite the cloudy and rainy last two days, the weather was perfect for our stay. The owners couldn’t have been more gracious and accommodating, bringing us a new Keurig coffee maker within an hour of mentioning the fact that we didn’t have coffee for breakfast. They also sent a maintenance person to tighten the toilet seats while we were gone! Couldn’t have been a better experience! Would have liked to use the porch a little more, but it was the beginning of the summer and they still had not……

The Christmas lights on the oil derricks made the night skyline more special. Precious was very accommodating with any questions or requests we had. “Home was more interesting than the website! We really enjoyed our 2 day stay, as it was close proximity to Rusk and Palestine area. Loved the decor and home has everything you would need for a short stay, minus groceries. Artwork, books and Netflix made for interesting and non boring interior! The bedding is nicely chosen and beds were reasonably comfortable. Geese on the property weren't too scary, we just respected their territory. Only complaint would be there is not enough hot water to enjoy……
