“We were here for a quick one night stay, arrived late so were bummed we did not have more time to enjoy the space. There were only two of us but this would be a really fun and easy place for a family or two to stay. Very convenient, comfortable living spaces, games, TV’s, kitchen, and bathrooms, everything you could need. Charming old house with the quirks we are used to as we also have an old house. Yard looked nice too. Very convenient location and responsive host. Thank you!”

“Stayed here for a Mothers Day weekend getaway. Room was nice, clean and big enough for 2. We didn't get the best view but that's okay, will upgrade next time. They let us do early check in with no issues! Front desk was responsive and Cocktails delicious. My only cons were the AC unit is LOUD so it kept waking us up and they must have been short staffed in the morning because breakfast was SLOW. Took about 20 mins for service and no tables were clean, however breakfast was worth the wait!! Will……

“The hotel was definitely clean and the staff was very friendly. The hot breakfast buffet had limited options but tasted good. The juice in the buffet was watered down with ice (you could see it in the juice container). The doors in the hotel room were not fitted in the frame properly so two of the doors in my suite would not close. The TV in the main area of my suite was missing its cables so it couldn’t be watched. ”

“We stayed here to be close to a graduation in Lawrence. Rate was good and fun had plenty of space. The courtyard was nice and comfortable. The room could use some upkeep (regular maintenance stuff) but nothing terrible. There was no elevator so getting a heavier bag up the stairs was s little cumbersome, but may be a consideration if that would be difficult or if stairs are a challenge. Overall not a bad place and would stay again. ”

“So when we go l got there we were greeted by one of the best frobt desk people i have encountered in a long time. I feel bad i can't remember her name but she was so nice. When we got up to our room we saw it wasn't ready so i thought maybe we were given the wrong room so i went Dien and checked it was the right room but they were running behind staff shortsges (totally get that) so i went back up said we could just put our stuff in the room. Go in and see it was only one bed... there were 5……

“Staff was great. We checked in and then left for dinner. When we returned, we were looking at dessert case and noticed a letter to guests that boiler was being worked on until 6 pm. It was after 6 so thought it's okay now. Got to our room, no hot water. Went to call front desk, there was no phone on our room. Called from my cell phone. Asked when hot water would be fixed. Now it's going to be after 8:30. Excuse for phone, paint got on it during renovations. Removed for aesthetics. Water wasn't……

“I chose this hotel because we were going to a concert at the Expocenter literally right next door. It was very easy to check in and I would definitely recommend to anyone try it out for yourself. ”

“The room was good as was service. My only complaint would be breakfast, specifically the waffles. It's clear they are trying to save money, at the expense of the customers, the waffle batter is being watered down, tacky. They don't have the batter in the dispenser, they keep cups of it in the fridge. They also don't have oil to spray on the waffle iron, so the waffles stick. There also are no cups for the juice, so you have to use the coffee cups, no biggie I guess, just more cheap evidence of……
