They allow and were friendly with our dog. Breakfast was hot and fresh and tasty, serving scrambled eggs, country patties and sausage links, alternating with Biscuits & gravy, in addition to a constant continental breakfast with hot waffles, coffee/hot beverages and juices. The pool was clean and the hot tub was hot. The downsides: the room keycards constantly needed to be reset, sometimes multiple times the same day. There's no hooks or towel bars in the bathroom to hang towels, your clothes, or your toiletries bag.
