"The Hotel was very nice. Rooms were nice, bed & pillows very comfortable! The Capital City Grill was nice. We sat at the bar for a few drinks, Jessica the bartender was awesome. We ate breakfast in there the next morning. Limited menu, prices were good. They have a Starbucks/Deli market off to the side of the lobby. Convenient. Parking is additional and it’s right across the side street. The State Capital is one block away. Nice area to visit. I would recommend this hotel. Wish they had an indoor pool though!!"

"I stayed for one night in room 104 on Saturday, August 15, 2026. As soon as I entered, I noticed the room was clean and the AC was running, but I also noticed immediately that the air in the room smelled stale. It wasn't a foul odor, but I still wanted to open the window to get some fresh air. I was surprised to see there wasn't a screen attached to the window, so I couldn't keep the window open for long because I didn't want bugs or the spider that I saw in the sill crawling in. I was also worried about someone lurking outside the window. It's right on the ground floor, so anyone could have easily seen me through the open window and attempted to enter the room. It's not a bad hotel, but I just didn't feel 100% comfortable with the lack of screen in the window."
