"Beautiful, spacious, historic renovated schoolhouse, well appointed furnishings. Giant great room off the back and out to an expansive green which is NOT fenced enough to let your pet run loose, which they say in write up (our dog loved the great room to play in). A few things: If the weather is inclement, the firewood on the property along the fence will be wet. We arrived in rain and had sun the next two days but wood was wet, and could not locate any bagged firewood in Rhinebeck, so could not...

"Lovely home. Very quiet. Large kitchen. I appreciated the communication from the owners. Pictures give the sense that it is larger than it is. Small deck in the back and some seating in the front of the house. Loved the huge windows in the living room. Very nice stay"

"This is a lovely cottage that's perfectly situated between the town of Woodstock and the Overlook Mountain trail. Wonderful ambiance, great mattress, generously-appointed kitchen. Only caveat is that the ceilings are quite low in some spots — especially the kitchen entrance and the upstairs loft-style bedroom. Bumped my head a few times when I forgot to duck!"

"Dave's home is a wonderful property located in the center of Woodstock. Comfortable, clean with a wonderful fenced in yard that our dog loves. "We were a bit sweltering in the heat, as the AC Units hadn't been installed yet. Rudy was very communicative in terms of getting help, but I was a little surprised that there weren't people readily available to assist should something that affected the stay that much come up. Thankfully the units were installed by the second night. Otherwise, the cottage is a lovely spot and an easy walk from Warren Street."

"The place was filthy. Kitchen tablecloth probably never washed grease on tea kettle, dirt on floor. Coffee grounds on top of machine. Junk in a lot of the drawers. Just a mess! Rustic is one thing, but this was dirty. What’s the sense in paying a cleaning fee if the place isn’t clean"
