“This was a great place for my husband and I to stay when we wanted to explore the Hill Country on our motorcycle. Very clean and well stocked. They thought of everything. Fresh eggs and pork sausage, corn on the cob, watermelon, fruit, veggies for the grill, drinks, coffee, you name it!!! Absolutely loved sitting on the patio in the early morning and evening watching the deer in the back yard. Cool vintage memorabilia for decoration that makes it feel so homey. WE WILL BE BACK!!!”

“Our extended family (13 people, ages 1-73) does a Christmas-time stay at a new home each year. Except this year, when we decided to return to the home we used in 2022. Everything was perfect for our needs, the kitchen, living area, fire pit, outdoor area, and the pond for fishing. We were comfortable and happy and may look at a 2024 stay. Thank you!”

“What a great place for a little getaway weekend! We were looking for some country rest and relaxation and found it. It was very clean, spacious, and perfectly furnished for the Texas Hill country. “After traveling from Amarillo to Dallas for a medical appt, we made arrangements for a couple of days in Hill Country just for some downtime. The home was beautiful and comfortable. Everything was inviting, quiet and relaxing. The only thing we were disappointed with was that we could not use the pool (as this was the number one reason for booking.) All in all, it was a trip well worth the time and will most likely book again (only next time make sure the pool is warm enough for use).”

“A spotless and comfortable home with some great touches! The owner had large canisters full of decaf and regular for the Keurig...plus creamers in the fridge. Bathrobes were provided. We so appreciated these thoughtful gestures! I loved being minutes away from the river walk, where we saw deer every morning. We would definitely stay here again!”

“We were able to book this house on such short notice for an unexpected family event. The house was clean and had a full kitchen. With our downtime, we had a lot of outdoor games to play and also watched th sunset by the frio. We thoroughly enjoyed our peaceful stay. We enjoyed the roomy house and all of the accomdations.”

After months of watching everything turn brown from the drought and watching our own large pond on our property get lower and lower this was absolute paradise!! We have always loved Hunt and this is exactly what my husband needed for his birthday! It was so peaceful and so nice to unwind and recharge. The home and property are “Quintessential Hunt” which is exactly what we love! We love the antique……
