“This place was amazing. My daughter and I stopped here in May 2025, and we felt like we were royalty. The special treats and fancy coffee were great but being able to enjoy it out on a quiet porch was amazing. The breakfast the next morning was perfect with hot and cold options and lots of delicious goodies. The only word of warning is that there was an amazing private bathroom for our room (“College”). The shower was about the size of an RV shower. My slim teenage daughter had warned me……

“I’ve stayed a quite a few rentals but Scott and Joe are the best hosts I’ve ever encountered. They are amazing! The rental was spotless, check out/cleaning process was SUPER easy, they provided coffee and creamer, shampoo, toothbrush kits incase we forgot anything. Absolutely the best experience. We even had to make some changes in our check out dates and they were extremely accommodating. Thank you!!”

“This is such a fun property! We are staying half way during a longer trip and it was so spacious for my family. The beds are very comfortable and the snacks provided were such an added bonus! “I can't say enough about this house and property. Only 20 minutes from downtown Hickory it truly felt like we were "out of town".....our Charleston friends loved it! So much so, that one said they would love to live there (as a Hickory resident, me too!!) Just around the corner is the sandbar marina where you can gas up your lake vessels, grab food, drinks and if wine is your thing, a pretty good selection for sale there. You could also drop anchor in the sandbar cove to float, be we actually……
