“Really nice people and clean room!”

“A fantastic stay at Glen Lyon Lodge! We stayed in the beautiful Skye room, with a lovely view of the garden. Everything was spotlessly clean, fresh, and very comfortable. Helen is a wonderful host, friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The fresh milk for tea in the room was a thoughtful touch. Breakfast was excellent too. Don't miss Helen's delicious avocado toast and homemade porridge! The location is perfect, with restaurants and the beach within easy walking distance, and……

“Worked”

“Absolutely wonderful stay! The breakfast was delicious, the room was very comfortable and even had a lovely bath. The farmhouse itself is beautiful and full of charm, with a peaceful atmosphere. The host was incredibly kind, spoke Spanish, and made us feel right at home. We also loved meeting the adorable dogs! A perfect place to relax and explore the nearby coastal towns. Highly recommended.”

“This is a fairly new property and this is reflected in the modern decor, and clean & smart set up. No staff on site but arrangements communicated beforehand in terms of property access and room key collection were faultless. Parking on site so no issues with proximity. We did not have breakfast (book and pay separately if required). River runs behind the property so soothing sound of running (nay rushing) water throughout. Only issue was the green light (fire regs ?) meant the room was not dark……

“Good place to stay. It was clean and in a convenient location. The only thing that was a bit of a pain was the sound proofing. I believe people may live above floor two and they stayed up walking around until after midnight. Wouldn’t be a problem at all except there is no sound proofing in the room I was in. Other than that a fantastic place to stay and would recommend.”

“Breakfast was diy in the room, would have expected full cooked breakfast for the price paid for the room.”

“The toilet sink was partially block. When I mentioned this to the lady of the of theB&B she merely said oh! I’ll get my plunger out later. She must have known this before as she cleans the property. The electric shower was ancient and I barely got a shower. Generally the property was less clean than I would’ve expected.”
