“This is an old school honestly, but with nicely separated living spaces (shred bathrooms). Not squeaky clean, and a bit outdated…but human and not without charm. The owner is a super courteous dude. You may need a car as it is a few kilometers 40 minute walk from the train station. The payoff is the silence and chill vibes out here. I enjoyed my stay. ”

“Lovely, charming ryokan exactly as pictured. The omakase dinner was amazing and the breakfast was also very welcome. It’s in a very quiet part of the village so it’s very peaceful. One of the rooms has a patio great for chilling out and it’s almost dark enough at night to take photos of the Milky Way. On a side note, I initially just wanted to drop my bags off in morning, but to my surprise, the owner allowed me to check-in early! Highly recommended stay. Some things to note: - There’s a shop……
