Dirty and needs maintenance

There was a layer of dust on the dishes in the open air cupboards. The floor was dirty. Not VOG, but dust. The unit is for sale so I'm guessing the owner doesn't want to put any money into maintenance and upkeep. The sliding glass door to the lanai is very hard to open/close. The bathroom needs help, painting, drain plugs in the sink and tub, stains on the ceiling, If you are visually impaired, the light in the kitchen and dining room make it difficult to see. I bought a small lamp and left it in the unit. So much furniture in the dining/living room. Only room for two to eat at the high top table which should seat four. I put one living room chair under the dining table so you could move around on the living room. Every drawer in the 2 bedroom dressers were full with owner stuff. The view from the lanai was nice. The pool and other complex amenities was wonderful. I would choose another unit in this complex anytime. The property manager was great.

Beautiful and well appointed unit close to everything

No complaints, pool, unit and grounds all very well kept. Quiet and friendly property with good parking and easy in/out access. Would definitely come again!

This property is a wonderful find in Kona - not too expensive, close to the water, swimming pool and close to grocery shopping. Perfect!

Clean but dated.

Great service from Dawn the property manager. Unit was very clean but is dated and shows wear. A few minor repairs and paint would make a difference. Well equipped kitchen. Could use a regular height dining table. Good location. Nice swimming pool. Overall rating 4.

Pleasant Stay

Well equipped, comfortable unit. Could use a couple more coffee cups of medium size. There was one soup mug size and one on the small size. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint. The grounds are well kept. The pool is nice! We walked to town. Overall a relaxing, quiet place to stay. Thank you Dawn!

Great spot in Kona

The condo is clean, and the property manager was very responsive. It was a great location for our Kona vacation. There was an air conditioner in the bedroom but the room was cool enough with the breezes that we didn't need to use it. Would definitely stay there again.

Excellent Location

The property was in an excellent location. The check-in process and cleanliness were also well above standard. The pictures in the listing were a bit misleading. Ocean view was a peekaboo view at best. The air conditioner in the bedroom was under powered but sufficient if the bedroom door was closed. The free standing fan in the living room was not sufficient for the space. Even with the ceiling fan in the kitchen area and the free standing fan on maximum, the air circulation was poor.

Perfect cozy getaway!

It's an absolute perfect condo for two (plus more if you use the sofa bed). Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook your own meals. Plenty of beach supplies (umbrella, chairs, boogie boards, kids toys). Washer/dryer were new and functioned perfectly. The complex has a great pool and barbecue area and has a gorgeous view of the Kona coast and sunset.

Nice property

It is an older but well maintained property. The king size bed was comfortable. The AC unit in the room made it so you could sleep at night. The property has newer appliances and cable with a number of choices for viewing pleasure. We would stay there again.

Great stay in a great location

We loved this property. The condominium complex allows so many people to enjoy a tiny strip of coastline. We ate all our meal on the lanai (balcony) and the weather was perfect. You can only see the ocean from one chair on the lanai, but we knew this going in. We liked watching the sunset with the other residents and hanging out in the pool. Dawn was an excellent and resposive property manager. The kitchen was well stocked. The place had lots of towels, beach toys, and a cooler bag. If you are an ocean swimmer there are lots of cool fish right off the rocky lava shore - but you need to watch the weather and waves. The place was clean, but there are some walls that could use some fresh paint. The Wifi was fast and allow us to get our work done. The units are well ventilated with louvered windows so you don't need AC at least in the winter. If you're used to living in a single family home, it is a little noisy, but not too bad. It is also nice that you can walk to town and to Green Flash coffee. The Big Island is the bomb. We will definitely return.

Great value

We rented this property last minute. It was brand new to vrbo so were offering a really good deal. It was as described, clean, comfortable, near town. Only complaint was lighting - extremely dark in all rooms. There also was opened food, including half drank can of pop in fridge, which always puts you on edge in Covid times. But everything was very clean otherwise. Recommend this stay.

Excellent Hawaiian getaway!

Love the style of this building, so much vintage charm on lushly gardened estates. Kitchen was fully stocked with all appliances and such. Close to amazing beaches on Kona side. Very friendly and easy communication while checking in and out.
