“Amazing property . Loved the carved wood ceilings and wood panelled walls not to mention the secret door. Never seen so many books outside a library. unfortunately didn’t stay long enough to read any. Also a vast selection of DVDs. The communal lounge was magnificent, we didn’t use it but were very impressed. The rest of our accommodation housed everything we needed and was clean and functional. The bathroom maybe needed updating but maybe I am nit picking, plenty of hot water and at a good……

“This cabin is absolutely lovely upon arrival it was really clean and has lots of nice touches which really makes it feel homely. Yes its at the top of a pretty steep hill but its also away from the hustle and bustle of the park and clubhouse, which means its very quiet, and tranquil, the decking is lovely with lots of space to watch the birds and enjoy the outdoors while sitting with your family eating, drinking and enjoying the afternoon and evening sun. The two main bedrooms are pretty……

“The stay at the cottage was good. It is positioned on a busy road but it quiets down later at night. There is a shop at the petrol station that has everything you will need for the stay and close to bus tops to take to Ambleside and Windermere. The beds are on the soft side but not uncomfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped but he had to buy paper kitchen towels, bin bags and dishwasher tablets. All in all, our stay was great. We would stay here again. ”
