“Very quaint pub in a quiet village - but full of life and character, obviously popular with locals and visitors alike. The staff were super friendly. Food was great. Our room was unique and full of old pub charm including sloping floors, but it was super clean, bed was comfortable and bathroom was well appointed.”
“Just a problem with the old widows which rattled in the wind during the early hours! Everything else with our one night stop-over was excellent. I would especially reommend the bar snack (chilli beef, Thai prawns)”
“Badic accommodation. Poor value for money. A pub with rooms. You could smell the fried chips when you opened the door in the car park. The staff were jobs worth and not welcoming.
Poorly maintained property which felt grubby. My room had a sash window broken so couldn't open it. Only good thing were the bath towels and good mattress. Pillows awful. Make sure you don't have a room on the front of the hotel as the noise from the road is continous through the night. I would not stay there……
“Cozy, artistic and original. The pre-industrial cottage style setting really makes guests feel relaxed. The food quality and service level are beyond my expectation too.”
