“Interesting experience. There is no on-site staff, but the building is in excellent (restored) condition. You let yourself in with the door code and then you’re on your own. The on-site restaurant is not operating, so we drove a couple miles for dinner. We made breakfast from what was on site. Thankfully there was no noise from the railroad outside. We’ll be back.”

It was so peaceful and quiet, and the host was quick to respond to questions we messaged about activities in the area. The Goldendale Observatory is close by and offers a wealth of knowledge at their evening shows. Plus Cottonwood Canyon State park in only an hour away and is a beautiful hike.”
