“What a magical place to stay. It's nice to listen to the waterfall, day and night. So relaxing. There is live music on the weekends. Beds are super comfy. I like the historical hotel, even the old-time elevator. All the artwork is old, a reminder of yester years. Staff is very nice. The grounds are well kept with resident ducks happily enjoying the river that runs through the property. Lovely place to stay. It's on my list of top places to run away for a weekend. The town of Hood River……

“The landscape after the window is opened is beautiful like a painting, you can see the train, bridge, snow, mountains, and boats. The pool is great and the hot pool is nice. The downside is that you can hear footsteps from upstairs on the lower floors.”

“We were THRILLED to know that the hotel was finally open and available for an overnight during our Thanksgiving travels. There were the obligatory minute challenges with it being so newly opened during our visit but the service and hospitality far outweighed any inconvenience we encountered. The hotel is absolutely wonderful from top to bottom and the investment in everything from the outside bricks to the gorgeous tile was very obvious. We were disappointed in a few aspects of our stay such as……
