“The place is a total dump!!! All of the doors have key pad locks that barely work, the "Double Queen Suite" was basically 2 dorm rooms with no place to sit except outside! No Wi-fi. The place was freezing with only an ancient heater and a wall space heater. The tub had standing water in it for 3 hours after taking a quick shower. The place is dirty and run down. We wouldn't have felt safe staying there if it hadn't been in the middle of no where. Old folks seemed to like staying there for some……

“Everything about this house was perfect! Breakfast was delicious! Assorted breads, fresh fruit, yogurt , and an amazing egg and hash brown bake. We sat in a beautiful kitchen, windows all around with the fireplace going while we ate. Our room was cozy, clean and comfortable! The shower was excellent with high end shampoo and soap. “This is my second time staying at Hotel Nichols in South Haven. All n all, if you're looking for a nice, reasonably priced place to stay and location is important so you can walk around the town and not have to drive, Hotel Nichols is the place to stay! South Haven as a whole is the perfect mini getaway from Chicago, and Hotel Nichols' location is absolutely perfect so you can walk around to shops, restaurants, the beach etc. It was a last minute mom and daughter trip. “Very cute and clean room. The only negative I had with this stay was the bed was extremely hard/firm and very loud. Inn keeper was nice and helpful.”

“We had a really great time! The Dome we stayed in was really cute and “evil eye” themed! Comfortable bed and we even had a hot tub. We built a cozy fire and enjoyed the deer that came out at night. Will be back with a bigger group of friends to enjoy the pool! Thanks for the lovely stay! ”
