“This is a Hotel from the early 20th century. It has wonderful character. It doesn't have AC but does not really need it due to being up in the mountains at about 3500 ft. a room fan and open window was more than adequate. We had small issue with a smoke detector battery getting low and the detector started chirping at 4 in the moring. They don't have over night staff so it was fixed in the morning while we were out and fixed by noon. They do have a weekend breakfast that was very good. ……

“First let me start with the good and then I will give my overall. The 2 bedroom was absolutely beautiful, and plenty of room for a group or family. Now... not until we arrived to checkin were we told the balcony was not safe and not allowed to be used.
