“The house was beautiful, clean, and well maintained. There was everything you would need to cook. They even left a cookie jar full of homemade cookies. Outside there was a beautiful patio that had chairs and a hammock that you can relax in. There was a n awesome area for the fire pit. The property was licated in a very quiet neighborhood. ”

“This was a great location for all of our activities during our stay. Having our own private cottage was perfect! And the price was better than booking a room at a local hotel. We would definitely consider staying here in the future! Oh, and the baby goats next door were absolutely adorable.”

“Nice and clean”

“We traveled from NJ, with family members from overseas, for a trip to Hershey's and Lancaster. We stayed a night at Dean and Christine's lovely home. They had thought of everything and made our stay very comfortable. The house was spotless. They provided us with sourdough cinnamon rolls, bottled water, snacks, and soda, which I have to say was very thoughtful and considerate of them. Their backyard is beautiful, and we enjoyed the fireflies after dark. Overall, our stay was lovely, comfortable,……

“It worked out perfectly for a family wedding at Folino Estate”

“Lovely, well planned, lots of natural light, comfortable beds, perfect porch with swing and rockers. ”

“Texter Mountain became the perfect location for our family to gather for our Thanksgiving celebration. One family of nine traveled from upstate New York and stayed at the lodge, while seven others, who live locally joined them each day to reconnect and enjoy the beautiful location. There was plenty of room in the large living area to cook, eat, and gather around to sing or watch the large-screen TV. The five bedrooms and four bathrooms were well appointed and comfortable. The two refrigerators……

“Our crowd loved this house! We weren’t here much; we spent our days out and about, but it has loads of personality. Built in 1846 but it’s been modernized where it counts. There are three floors and most of the beds are on the top floor, with a great whirlpool tub. The only shower is on the bottom floor. The local cafe across the street was a nice touch. Hands down best part was the host was super responsive several times when I reached out, and very nice. Thanks for a great stay!”
