“Beautiful cottage nestled away from the main town but still centre is a couple of mins away . Lovely and quiet . Well equipped even to a much needed plaster when I cut my finger . Plenty of storage in the bedroom and a comfy bed . Bathroom is small but room to store your toiletries .”

“really comfortable stay - the cottage is cosy but has high ceilings so no banged heads and it doesn't feel cramped. beds really comfy. fantastic location - amazing walks from outside the front door. lovely pub in the village down the hill. and the owners run the tea room next door so left us a lovely plate of cakes on arrival! ”

“The property was beautiful, with everything we needed. And the pool was amazing! We all enjoyed swimming and chilling in the hot tub. We were able to walk straight up Thorpe cloud and into Dove dale, and look forward to being able to visit again to explore further. “Beautiful location, to base your holiday from. Pet friendly with walks on your doorstep and more a short journey away. The owners are a lovely, friendly couple, helpful and welcoming.”

“A wonderful property, spacious, clean, convenient. Two bedrooms with 2 twin beds, two bed rooms with Queen beds makes ample room for large familes or friends. A well equipped kitchen. The Nisa and fruit/veg stand nearby have everything one needs. Would recommend for a Peak District getaway.”

“This property was perfectly located for sightseeing in the region. We did Nottingham, York, and a bunch of beautiful things in between. The proximity to Chatsworth, Bakewell, Haddon Hall and other more local sights meant it was one of our few trips where we were able to have very short drives to very majestic places many days. Clean, quiet, tasteful, and comfortable, the property was excellent. It had ample parking that was easily accessible. The kitchen had every tool we needed. The town is……

“It was comfortable, quiet and conveniently located for exploring the area. Comfortable beds, everything one needed in the kitchen, big bathroom and large dining/sitting room. Wasn't keen on open plan bedrooms upstairs, where one could see and hear everything that was said and done in the other bedroom.”
