“Good breakfast, clean quiet room...BUT ...the advertised on site restaurant was not there “we’ve never had one”. I’m beginning to wonder if the problem might be with Expedia. This latest trip was three nights and two out of three of the lodgings that we booked were advertised by Expedia as having on site restaurants which were non existent . Expedia should review the accuracy of its information, since it is unlikely that a facility would report an on site restaurant when they’ve never had one. I……

“Came to the area to evacuate from hurricane Isaias; the front door said that there were no vacancies and that the rooms were booked. I wound up getting a room here on Expedia and the front desk. Girl looked at me like I was crazy when I said I had a reservation. I almost didn’t believe that it went through because she was certain that there were no availabilities they did let me check in early, but the room was nasty. There was garbage still in the trash cans; had a maintenance person, some sort……

“There were a lot of guest hanging out in front of their rooms drinking and going in and out of their vehicles. Looked like most were transient workers. The shower control knob was not screwed in to the valve so you had to hold it on when using it. The continental breakfast was minimal at best.”

“Good. Yhe facilities are old. The price is good”

“Next time I am needing motel in Lake City, will plan to stay at this location.”

“Overall, the stay was ok; we were just passing through. The building was a bit older and had some visible damage. Once you got past the lobby area, there was just a dank, wet smell everywhere. Like a basement. It was a rainy day in Florida, so maybe that made it worse, but it was a little unpleasant. The breakfast was decent and made the stay worth the value. We were not concerned about safety for us or our car in the parking lot, and there were plenty of food options around.”
