“Breakfast was very good with many options and the bar food was decent, however the Cantina restaurant (pool bar) was only open when the weather was sunny and there was very little “resort” feel unless the weather was perfect. With the pool bar closed, guests were told to order from the Rhum Bar, but when I asked for a virgin pina colada for my daughter, I was told they could not make one because they didn’t have a blender. “We were welcomed by the staff and our room was ready when we arrived at 12:10 p.m. I had registered online and did not have to wait for the 4 p.m. normal checkin. No early check in fees. The location was excellent, beach view with balcony. Parking was easy but $25 per day. Our room was clean. Refrigerator and microwave in room and coin laundry available on our 5th floor, and possibly on each floor.”

“We know the hotel can't control the weather, but we were surprised by the lack of effort to offer some kid friendly activities with 4 straight days of rain. Other issues we encountered: 1) our shower looked like it was never cleaned. The same 2 pieces of hair were stuck on the tile when we arrived and left. Lots of mold too. 2) my husband took my tween daughters to the gym with him (since we were all going stir crazy from the 3rd straight day of rain!) They were rudely informed at the desk……
