“Great place to stay if you are looking to not spend most of your time inside. The back yard is a peaceful setup. The washers game was so fun. It felt like having a hotel room with a pool right outside the door. We brought our 10 month old and were able to do with the space but it would not be doable with 3 adults for sure or even an older toddler. Husband and I plan to go back just the two of us and stay again. We thought Lockhart over all was better suited for adults than children. The only……

“Great air conditioning plus ceiling fans—great kitchen and bathroom. Comfortable furniture (sofa, chairs, beds)”

“We had a wonderful time. The cottage was a perfect secluded spot. It was great to see all of the animals and loved our first impression as we drove in the front gate and the beautiful bluebonnets streached out in front of us. It was warem and welcoming! Thank you for having a clean and well equipped cabin. We were gretted Tabby on Friday evening an Saturday morning had to chase off a coyote after him and a orange cat. Glad they are ok.”

“Ceiling is close to the bed but that’s expected in a tiny house.”

“The home was clean, the beds comfortable. Great size and location. However, there was no wifi. It looked like the main house had internet but there was very low signal. A message to the host went unanswered. The one television had no remote and, since there was no internet, even a remote app was useless. The property had clean, quality towels for guests, but no wash cloths or extra toilet paper. The most disappointing part was the pool. The flagstone surround was broken and chipped and the pool……

“Great House, thank you.”

“Clean, cute, kitchen well stocked”

“The house itself was very rustic. There were both good and bad. The bed downstairs was comfortable. The place itself looked clean until you moved a piece of furniture and found trash underneath the couch. The yard guys came and cut the grass on the 2nd morning, which was needed. Just something that should have been done beforehand.I can say the check out was easy and pain free. Where the property fell short was in the communication. The first day the toilet, bathroom sink as well as the kitchen……

“We really loved the location and were excited to find this cute house outside the city. Quick, helpful, and polite responses from the host. Such a cute home.”

“Great location to COTA, great communication from host, needed trash bags on location, a few ants were seen in the house but the excessive dry spell in the area is most likely the cause. great experience.”

“Everything was super cozy and the entrance is so beautiful. I will say a bit sad the jacuzzi had no instructions and was off, cold when we got in and lacked lighting or maybe it was just lack of instructions as well. Were looking super forward to it! But I will say hadn’t had such a great ac in a while like this one 😮‍💨 and also loved the safety aspect (baby ducks are adorable)”

“What a hidden little gem!!! we have thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Julie is such a great host. There are amenities you wouldn’t even think of. And absolutely love all the labels. Will definitely be back to stay again.”

“The garbage was not emptied in the house, pizza boxes under the sink.Outside garbage overflowing too. Bad communication to access property, not smooth. Floors dirty. Sheets and towels dingy and scratchy.”

“Clean and plenty of room for a guys weekend away.”

“Great quiet get away close to Bastrop. Private fishing pond was only a short walk. Equipped with everything needed for preparing meals there or very close to get to restaurants'.”

“We arrived at the property late in the day and it was very lovely Somehow it was double booked and another family was already there so we had to find another place to sleep for the night. The host was very friendly and offered a refund immediately and was very apologetic We used VRBO for our booking and the other family used another service. I’m sure this happens occasionally and we have not had any issues in the past We will definitely try for this super property in the future”
