The apartment is very quiet even though is located right next to Gran Via.
It has one Bedroom with a large bed for 2. A nice size living room with a sofa-bed for 1 person. One bathroom. A nice Kitchen. And a small terrace under the Madrid sky perfect for summer night dinner or morning breakfast.
The building is a walk up. The apartment is located in floor number 4.
We provide bed sheets, bathroom towels, kitchen silverware and dishes.
The apartment has washing machine, nice size refrigerator, oven, air conditioning.
The apartment is in prime location. Right on Plaza Vazquez de Mella (Plaza Pedro Zerolo), next to Gran Via, Fuencarral Street, Plaza de Chueca, Puerta del Sol, Plaza Cibeles. Very near to the Prado Museum, Thyssen Museum. Plaza Mayor, Plaza Santa Ana, Malasaña, Puerta Alcala are very near.
Shopping and dinning around the area are top in Madrid simply unbeatable to anyother area of the city.
It has all sorts of transportation right around the corner: Gran Via subway station plus all buses that run along Gran Via. A few hundreds meters is Plaza Cibeles one of the main transportation crosspoints in the city. Plaza Callao is very near and Fuencarral subway is not far.

The apartment has a total area of 67m2 (720 Sqaure feet). It is very very quiet. You can not hear the street noises even though the apartment is located in the heart of downtown Madrid. The apartment has a terrace where you can have breakfast, dinner, etc. It is a walk-up apartment there is no elevator in the building. We have added additional electric radiators for the colder winter months (17.January.2017)
Other things to note
APARTMENT INFORMATION

1.- WIFI: You will find the WIFI password written on the bottom part of the wifi modem.
2.- Kitchen stove: The kitchen stove controls are as follows: number 1 is the most powerfull and number 6 is the less powerfull.
3.- Please do not throw food to the sink.
4.- Hot Water: In the kitchen there is a tank that heats the water for the bathroom and kitchen sink. You can select the right temperature for it. Please be aware that hot water may be very hot and you should need to mix it with cold water.
5.- Garbage: Please take garbage to the containers on the Street before you leave the apartment.
You will find recycling containers right in front of the OSCAR-Room-Mate Hotel. There is a container to recycle glass, another one to recycle paper and another one to recycle anyother type of packaging such as carton bricks, plastic bottles and so on.
Organic garbage goes in the container with orange cover, this container is placed on the Street every night at around 9pm.
6.- Building Door, when you want to exit the building you do not need to use the key, you can unlock the Street door by touching the electric switch on the right hand size in the lobby..
