"The room was spacious and clean. It had been recently remodeled. They had a continental breakfast which you had to take back to your room as they were renovating the breakfast room. They have an indoor pool and the beach is just across the street. I was told that they just bought the property and will be renovating the outside. It looks a little rough but I’m sure that will be fixed eventually."

"We only stayed here one night but we were very happy with the place. The night before we stayed in a name brand hotel and we were not thrilled with the place. Borders was clean, staff was very nice and the room was very nice. We will definitely stay here again. FYI there is no elevator, only 2 floors so not a huge deal but just fyi."

"Beautiful lake front cabin. We had a wonderful stay and would definately go back!Some of the things you expect to see with a lake cabin in the UP such as cobwebs, tons of flies (inside and outside), we heard critters in the walls and there were mouse traps in the house. Some large gaps in deck and the outdoor table is in rough shape. Low water pressure but good hot water. Large holes in screen door off porch. The main entrance screen door does stick sometimes. Large living room windows have some mold build up from condensation moisture. Things to know before you go so you can be prepared.. it is kid friendly but there arent any above and beyond little kid things like cups/bowls/utensils, inside/outside toys or sand toys. There are a few puzzles, dvds and a swing hidden in the forrest to the side of the house. There also wasnt much hand soap, toilet paper or firewood supplied, no hair shampoo/conditioner supplied (between 4 adults and 2 kids we ended up having to buy quite a bit of extra stuff to make it through the week stay). No beach towels supplied and you definately need water shoes if you plan to walk/swim since there are many large rocks in this beach. Understand that the upstairs bedroom is a loft, not a closed bedroom. No fans and dim room lights on first floor."
