“Lovely little cabin, stayed 3 nights off peak season. Cabin a little musty on arrival. Everything clean and tidy. Will stay there again.”

“Really nicely presented hotel in a great location. 5 mins from train station and five mins from the town. Rooms on the smallish side, however the balcony helps as a place to relax. Very friendly and courteous staff so we recommend a stay if you are in the area.”

“Es war einfach wunderbar! Wir waren äusserst angenehm überrascht, da wir an diesem sehr touristischen Ort nicht viel erwartet hatten und sowieso sehr überrascht waren, dass wir so kurzfristig noch ein Zimmer buchen konnten. Das Zimmer war eher klein, aber sehr herzig mit eingeschränkter Meersicht. Das Bad war neu renoviert und der absolute Hammer! Alles funktionierte wunderbar und hatte wohlriechende Pflegeprodukte im Spender. Das Hotel ist wahnsinnig schön gelegen und wir haben die Umgebung……

“Our stay was great overall. Our room had a bathtub which is always a big plus. Perfect location in the middle of Lizard, with plenty of shops nearby and Lizard point within a short walking distance.”

“We had a lovely stay here whilst exploring Cornwall. The room is small and basic but charming in its own way - we’re in an old pub! The bathroom is also small but has what you need. Great shower and good linen. Bed was low and a bit firm but we had no trouble sleeping. Downstairs the pub provides breakfast and you can get lunch & dinner there also. It’s a lovely local pub. The breakfast included was amazing! Freshly cooked to order. The staff we great and made us feel very welcome. It’s……

“The keyless entry was great, the property was spotless and the use of a kitchen, ironing board and a seating area was a real bonus.The location was great as it was a short walk from the sea front, restaurants and shops plus a short drive from plenty of attractions.”

“A very clean and comfortable inn, but not a truly good hotel. The staff, while very nice and helpful, are not available much of the time, the location is somewhat far from the city center and there is no bus service, only taxis which do not operate all the time…I felt the place is truly an inn—mostly a bar/limited restaurant with some nice rooms to let…For guests with their own cars, I’m sure it is far more satisfactory. ”

“Wunderschöner Rückzugsort. Unser Zimmer war sehr groß und schön. Es gibt kein Frühstück im herkömmlichen Sinne, sondern im Zimmer ist eine kleine Küchenzeile und man kann sich selbst dort Toast und Kaffe machen. Butter, Marmelade und Obst sowie Saft und Milch sind vorhanden. Für eine Nacht war es für uns perfekt.”

“Lovely Easter break! The 'Owl' room was ideal for the four of us, as has bunks for the kids & a fabulous super-king bed. Superb Breakfasts & Sunday roast served by hosts Dave, Jackie & their team. 5 min drive from St Ives, didn't cause us an issue. This is quite a remote spot so would need a car as not much within walking distance. Excellent base for touring the extreme 'Pointy end' ”
