“I’m conflicted with this hotel. It’s a beautiful and unique hotel. I loved the design and the history. The staff were nice enough but for as dead as it was they weren’t always around. For example, you can order food or a drink and you will get it and then they disappear. To the point it’s annoying. They had an elderly women working the dinning room and we never got asked if we want another drink. She just was busy with other tables. I saw two other servers but they were wiping tables. “Room was clean, but clearly had years of smokers in it. Reeked of cigarettes. Didn't stay, left immediately. Appeared clean, and good layout with lots of amenities. Wished it could have worked out. Owner was very responsive. Easy check-in.”
