“Room had a slight odor. Maintenance had t9 be called to adjust safe from previous travelers, as the opened door meant the closet door couldn't close, access to bathroom awkward. Room set up made computer use difficult. A long orange extension cord from side wall to middle of room unsightly and slightly hazardous. Main elevator shut down. Bathroom sink wide. Buffet breakfast $17 and ok. Charming to walk around. Will not stay again. ”

I live in Richmond and my mother came into town for my daughter’s high school graduation so it ended up being a staycation for me. From the warm welcome at check-in, to the generously sized room to the amazing customer service, we loved every minute of the three days we spent at the beautiful property. “The hotel is nice. It sits basically alongside the Bass Pro Shop. Rooms have stove, but no pots, pans or utensils. Hotel is off the interstate, you do hear the traffic. The front desk is not staffed full time, key is required for entry into building and all areas at all times. Main floor constantly smelled like cigarette smoke.”
