“The Lodge is located very near the fairgrounds and very close to the restaurant mentioned in the description of the Lodge. We parked our car and did not use it until we left. The Lodge has a beautiful setting to sit and watch the variety of boats and water "toys" I on the lake. Be prepared to find a breakfast place; the "free" breakfast has good coffee. If we come to another event at the fairgrounds we will book at the lodge.”

“I stayed at this hotel for one night while traveling to Myrtle Beach. Within a few days, I developed multiple clusters of bites on my arms and ear. The reaction became severe enough that I had to visit a doctor, who felt the bites were consistent with bed bug bites.
What should have been a relaxing family vacation has instead involved medication, discomfort, and constant worry about whether I may have brought something home with me.
I hope management takes this seriously and thoroughly inspects……

“This is an excellent hotel at a very reasonable prize, very friendly and helpful staffs there.
I don’t know if the owner is the author Mark Twain’s descendant, there are photos of him on the wall along the hallway.
Good breakfast and snacks are available.
The only thing is, there’s no USB charger port in the room. You have to bring your charger yourself.”
