“This place is paradise in the jungle. An amazing, smiling and very helpful owner and her sweet staff make your stay memorable. Breakfast, dinner and drinks are available except Sundays at a very reasonable additional cost. Eat there! The grounds and outdoor showers are jewels. Book this place and look no further. Only about 25 min easy drive into San Ignacio. ”

“Our stay was AMAZING!! Mark made our visit so personal and warm, he’s the best. The restaurant was delicious and accommodating to my friend’s dietary needs. I would recommend Vanilla Hills over and over again. We stayed in the large villa and had so much space and privacy. The infinity pool was perfect, and there’s a walkable river access we went to as well! There’s tons to see and do on the property as well as nearby. Our stay was perfect. I only wish we could have stayed longer. ”

Neil, Marcia, and the staff at Pine Ridge will do anything that they can to accommodate you and make your stay enjoyable. The resort is definitely rustic and out in the wilderness, but it is impeccably clean, wonderfully decorated and appointed with whatever you need. “This is a beautiful property and the staff were wonderful. The dining on the property was really good as well. You can book all excursions through them. Drinkable tap water was nice. Beautiful rooms and property. Please keep in mind you are in the jungle so big beetles/bugs can make it into your room. You Also can be woken up in the middle of night by loud animal noises. I thought it made the experience pretty cool but it did freak me out the first time. Would recommend and stay here again.”

“Lovely hidden jem in Mountain Pine Ridge ripe with natural quiet surroundings, great food at the restaurant and amazing staff. Villas are comfortable and tastefully furnished. “Mariposa Jungle Lodge is such an incredible place! Its located near towns and San Ignacio, along with the Pine Reserve. It was a great location to explore the Cayo area from. The staff were very kind, thoughtful, and helpful. Robelvi gave us great recommendations and helped us plan some really fun adventures to a butterfly sanctuary and local swimming spots and waterfalls.
