"I'm grateful for the Stables Inn Aintree, and the staff there, for providing me with perfect accomodation this past week, for an equine event at Aintree. I found it: safe; very clean and tidy; lots of hot water and clean, soft linens; VERY quiet and restful; friendly and hard-working staff (one woman was quietly wiping down the hand rails in the hallway at 11 pm, not sitting in the office on her phone, how amazing! :); perfect location (walkable) for the horse show, really close to restaurants...

"We had a great stay at the bold hotel. We were in room 11 which was large and apart all the usual ameneties had a small fridge we which we found very useful. We found the staff very friendly and helpful. "

"Probably one of the better hotels in Southport… but… Sadly: breakfast was in a sister hotel, not onsite. Rooms quite noisy due to ineffective soundproofing - especially noisy doors at night and in the mornings. Most staff were lovely. I merely booked another longer staff but hotels.com showed at least 6 rooms for my stay period but the lady on reception said they were full ! Who was wrong! So decent hotel - just need door closers, better showers and accommodate breakfast in the Grand rather...

"We stayed at Sinclair’s for 2 nights in mid-November. Check in was swift and professional, great service from Ethan. We booked the ‘cosy double’ and it did what it said on the tin. We returned to the room on Saturday after being out for the morning to find the room had been cleaned, a pleasant surprise! We also left some wine chilling in the sink (as you do!) and were pleased to see it had been put in to an ice bucket for us. Lovely touch! Highly recommend both the rooms and the bar. Lovely...

"This really is a little gem of a hotel, absolutely spotless, well looked after and I couldn’t fault a single thing. The hotel isn’t manned with staff which makes it more like an air BnB but again caused no issues. Really well positioned for the main town and sea front, easy street parking, tea coffee, fridge and kitchen facilities. We didn’t see or hear any other guests, was like we had the whole place to ourselves. Planning our next return trip "

"Great communal areas, bar and outdoor seating. We opted for the continental breakfast which was lovely, plenty to choose from. Bedroom could do with a bit of maintenance as curtains falling off the tracks and the tap on the sink was loose. However great value for money hotel and would stay again. "

"The second time I have stayed here. A very good small hotel. My only criticism would be the size of the single bed! I normally book a double, but I think that such rooms were sold out. Excellent breakfast. Friendly service."

"What a great little gem this place is, from the moment I walked in I felt relaxed! Itaçh, the host was there to greet you (though there is no reception) and once I’d filled in a form in the lounge I was shown to my room and he even carried my bag to my room. The whole place was very well presented and I truly enjoyed my short stay. And a great plus was the train station was a mere 5 minute walk from/to the hotel."
