“Very atmospheric, with amazing thought to detail, spacious rooms with comfortable beds...the spa was very relaxing and wonderfully warm, the only downside waa the steam room was not working at the time... Staff were very welcoming and helpful, I would definitely recommend staying here”

“Avoid this hotel, especially if traveling with children or elderly. At 1:45am, water began pouring down our bathroom wall. There was pre-existing brown water stains, proving this leak was a known issue. I called reception seven times over 26 minutes, but no one answered. I had to physically go to reception at 2:00am, leaving my sleeping 2-year-old and 5-year-old unattended - a totally avoidable situation. Downstairs, staff claimed "no calls came through" (contradicted by my call logs) and I'd……

“Room was clean but stuck next too outside bins and outside fan that never stopped. Staff must have took smoking breaks outside our window spitting and coughing. Loud keeping us awake. Room bins not emptied just given a bag to do it out selfs. Room was along from a cleaning cupboard with a bucket outside to trip over! Never anyone at reception to help. Nicest thing was waiter at breakfast kind and polite”
