“- poor house keeping services - always forgot replace clean towers, refill tissue and forgot dispose toilet rubbish and I clean it myself. - no hand wash gel as no stock - ask for replace bed sheet and vacuum carpet by tenant every time - want to raise up staff - Ms Jane (old lady at reception), as one time house keeping forgot to clean my room and she clean up my room, replace towers, dispose rubbish and vacuum carpet by herself, but she was just receptionist!”

“The stork hotel/pub was perfect for our first trip away with our puppy. The staff were friendly and welcoming the meals in the evening were lovely. The only complaint we have was breakfast took over an hr to arrive after we mentioned to them we were still waiting for it & a waitress apologised claiming that it was all her fault. When it did arrive the sausages were dried up the bacon was overdone & the fried eggs were hard. Apart from that everything else was great.”

“The hotel was okay but a bit old fashioned basic rooms but clean the staff we saw where friendly breakfast was served by a nice young man it was very quiet when we stayed in April 2026 and you had to pay cash if you had a drink at the bar ”

“When we arrived 11pm instructions to get into hotel explained very well . When in room couldn’t find remote control for tv .Bed very comfy and large . We were woke up around 4am with the tv turning itself on and off . This kept happening until around 6ish . When we got up open curtains and remote control fell from window very strange . The shower in bathroom needs updated feels dirty shower head spits everywhere . Coffee machine and breakfast nice touch . Looked to speak to someone in morning……

“Stayed for one night in a family room, everything was good despite not having enough toilet roll and hair dryer not working couldn’t fault it. Great spacious room, tea and coffee facilities had snacks and drinks in fridge for extra cost but still cheap. Great stay will return in the future.”

“From the moment we arrived till we checked out this hotel delivered. Lovely welcome on arrival, spacious clean room. Comfortable bed, handy fridge, sofa. Delicious buffet breakfast. My preferred eggs were not in the buffet but asked and they were provided no problem. Evening meal was delicious too. Waiting staff very pleasant and helpful. Spa facilities were great. You pay £10 for use of the facilities. Well worth it. Loved the heated beds. Plenty treatments on offer too. Take £1 coin for the……
