"There were several maintenance issues when we stayed there 3/26/2026. The next morning, there was nothing to drink at breakfast and no yogurt--only some fried potatoes and scrambled eggs in addition to standard continental offerings (without milk). They were short-handed on staff, too, although the one we saw did the best he could. "

"House was cute, worked great for a nice stay. Would say the wire stair railings and deck railings were very sketchy with having little kids with us. They could easily be separated and a child fall through. House was clean but floors may have been dirty, all feet and socks were black after walking on them. Game room was cool, race game never worked but that’s ok. Had an issue with stink bugs there were at least 5 or more in the house at all times. My son is a bit traumatized after he had one crawl on him 2 nights in a row. House was very cute and every other aspect was great. If I had any recommendations for owners or future travelers it would be to bring travel baby proof items if you have kids or owners to have some to offer to renters. I brought our own door lock for the basement as my kids could open the doors but I wished I had a gate for the stairs as my kids loved to climbed the stairs but I was terrified they would fall off them because of the wire railing bars that were night tight. "

"The location could not have been more perfect. The uninterrupted views of the Ohio River from the porch and yard and the sunrise were gorgeous. We enjoyed watching the migrating waterfowl moving down the river and even heard loons calling as they were migrating through the area. The cabin itself was very well maintained and furnished with everything you need for a comfortable stay (toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, trash bags, coffee, filters, salt and pepper, shampoo, dish soap, etc.)We enjoyed the games and used the firewood and fire ring each night. I would definitely recommend staying here! "

"Our family had an amazing time at Crew Holler. Rodney was a great host who was extremely gracious. You could tell that a tremendous amount of thought and effort was poured into this property. Our two families have never stayed anywhere that had so many amenities. Every cabinet, pantry, and closet was stocked with everything that you may possibly need to enjoy your trip. The house and property have endless amounts of areas to gather, have fun, and spend time as a family or group. The next time we visit French Lick we hope the Holler is available. "

"The staff was very friendly and the room was clean. The hotel welcomed my dog for no additional fee. It was pretty quiet so she wasn't too on edge which helped. There's not a fenced area for them to run free a bit which would be a nice addition but not a deal breaker. No breakfast but right next door to McD's. My only complaint was there was a VERY strong marijuana smell in the hallway which was fun to explain to my kids. It could still be smelled in our room but only slightly. We'd still stay here again "
