“Friendly staff, great breakfast, beautiful grounds, comfortable bed, personal preference- I didn’t like the pillows, worn carpet, creaky floors. I suppose they add to the ambiance of the historical hotel. We were too hot during the night so propped the window open to get fresh air. Didn’t have any other way to regulate the temperature of the room”

“My best friend and I got to experience what relatively few Americans will ever experience - sleeping in a real castle! What an experience! The grounds were beautiful, overlooking a flowing river and a gorgeous wooded area. The walk to the quaint town of Peebles was fabulous. Indeed, I can think of NOTHING of this one night experience for us that was amiss. We had the whole castle to ourselves. The accommodations were more than comfortable. In the room, we had a plethora of snacks and breakfast……
