“The outside is gorgeous and has really cute grounds, just an immediate good vibe. We ended up with a room much larger than expected - it felt very luxurious! The inside decor was all quite nice as well. The employee there was so helpful and kind. Just an overall really lovely experience!”

“I stayed overnight at CrossBasket Castle with my boyfriend as he received a generous voucher for the Michel Roux Jr tasting menu. The hotel and staff are absolutely brilliant and extremely knowledgeable and hospitable. The food is exquisite and it’s possibly one of the finest cheese boards we have ever had. Look forward to retuning one day.”

“We received a warm and helpful welcome on arrival, and were kindly informed that there was a wedding taking place at the hotel that evening and that it may be a bit noisy - needless to say we didn't hear a thing! Our room was spacious and clean, beds were comfy and bathroom was spotless. Great view of the grounds and loch. Breakfast buffet was delicious and fresh, and again staff were lovely, same goes for when we checked out. We will definitely stay again as we want to come back and do more in……

“What a pleasant surprise as it was not what I expected. Check in across the road at an enticing Indian Restaurant - able to safely park car in the Restaurant Car Park - room was very clean, comfortable bed, great shower, larger than usual TV. Room looked out on a busy dual carriageway but noise limited by glazed window and noise from pub downstairs was bearable and ended at closing time. Pricing was incredible. Will definitely be back.”
