The Rosedale Inn was super conveniently located, a few minutes from Asilomar Beach and a car ride away from Old Monterey. The room was big and comfortable. We very much enjoyed our stay there.

The location can't be beat! You can walk to the beach, onto Asilomar grounds, and to a great restaurant just down the street. There is a bus stop in front of the property, so getting into Monterey is easy if you don't want to drive. Rosedale Inn suited our needs. Yes, it needs some updating, but the room was spotless, roomy, and cozy. I had very brief encounters with the front desk staff and cleaning staff, both were friendly and very helpful. I would absolutely stay at the Rosedale Inn again!

Quiet and woodsy location near Asilomar Beach with plenty of free parking, This is a single story cottage. The Room has a working gas fireplace, but is old and dated. Musty smell, uncomfortable bedding-lumpy pillows, old mattress, heavy thick comforter on bed, and peeling wall paper on walls. Maintenance neglected and mismatched decoration in room.

This little place is a peaceful gem in Pacific Grove! The gentleman working the front desk reception was very friendly and welcoming, and my checking in and out was smooth and easy. He said they are doing an extensive upgrade to the whole property...cool! With such a great serene location back in the trees and so close to Asilomar Beach, no doubt the end result will be wonderful! I will definitely be back to the remodeled Rosedale Inn!
