“Our stay at Day’s Away was wonderful. To start with, Becky could not have been a more responsive, helpful or friendly host. The house is perfectly clean. The beds are all comfortable and so importantly in Texas - the air conditioning works great! The outdoor area is perfect. We loved using the canoe and kayaks to enjoy the beautiful river even more. The large flagstone patio with the fire pit was such a great place to gather in the evenings with a large well maintained yard for kids to play in -……

“My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and it was absolutely the perfect place! The cabin was equipped with everything you could need and the views were breathtaking. The climb up and down to the river is very steep so you'd need to be able to handle that to access the river from the property. John was great and very helpful. Our dogs also had a great time swimming in the river. It was deep enough in spots for them to swim but shallow enough for us to sit in chairs and enjoy the water.……
