“On arrival the chateau looked beautiful. It’s a really authentic French experience. Check in was smooth and the grounds were beautiful. We were only here for a brief stop off. Not too much around the area in terms of provisions but we had eaten before arrival and the resturant looked lovely. We had a drink in the bar area and that was nice and quiet. Would recommend to others clean, comfortable stay in beautiful surroundings.”

“Great location to access Calais Plage and the Eurotunnel. Clean and comfy and very pleasant staff. If booking via Expedia be aware that most people (including myself) were under the impression they had already paid but hadn't. Payment is taken on arrival which suprised me and the fsmily in front of us and many other customers according to the lady on reception. This is an issue with Expedia booking process though and not the hotel itself.”

“Despite booking 5 months in advance of the trip the owner did not communicate any information regarding the booking. The "reception" is unmanned despite the advert saying it is manned between 5pm and 11pm. I tried to contact the owner on the number provided and got sent to an answer phone. Great. The messaging service on Hotels.com also yielded no results. The very helpful bar staff over the road phoned the owner for me, where I found out they had forgotten my reservation. “The staff were very friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout my stay, which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, the hotel facilities did not meet my expectations, especially considering the price. The property appears to be poorly maintained. The air conditioning in my room was not working properly and only blew warm air, making the room uncomfortable. The staff was helpful enough to change another room for me.
